According to the tour program, the first place to visit will be the monastery of St. Catherine (without service). In the monastery, you can see: The Well of Moses, who appeared here since biblical times, and still provides the monastery with water. Burning Bush, in a flame of which, according to the Old Testament, God first appeared to the prophet Moses. In 324, the Emperor Constantine’s mother Helena ordered to build a Chapel on the site of the Burning Bush. You will visit the Church of the Transfiguration with ancient icons, where you can put a candle and write notes (“for health” and “the repose”), the monastery bell tower with nine bells (a gift from the Emperor Alexander II).
Next in the program will be Colored Canyon. The Sinai Peninsula has many canyons, and this is the most beautiful, it iscalled colored because its walls are made from multicolored sandstone (white, red, yellow, and green, blue …) and all these layers form multicolored paintings in a bizarre way, and wind blowing here constantly cuts amazing patterns in soft stone. Your way in the bottom of the canyon will be very exciting, the walls will be gradually narrowing, and somewhere in the middle of the canyon you have to squeeze through a narrow crevice, this place is called the bosom of nature, passing through it you would get a second birth.
After a walk through the canyon, you will have lunch in the town of Nuweiba, to the south of Sharm El Sheikh. On the way, back you will visit the city of Dahab, where you can buy souvenirs that will remind you about the hospitable and fabulous Egypt.
